“On the Vine”
A monthly meal in a members home at various venues across the island. We meet at 6pm and share in a meal which the host has prepared followed by a time of sharing of items to pray for and things to give thanks for.
This is followed by a simple breaking of bread and sharing of wine as we reflect on Jesus’ last meal with his disciples. We then discuss an item that has been in the news that week and look at it from a Christian perspective as we share our own thoughts on the issue.
All are welcome – there is no charge – just let the Chaplain know if you want to come for directions/lifts and he will let the hosts know how many to expect for catering purposes.
CBBC
This group meets on Tuesdays down in El Cotillo from 4pm onwards. It is probably best described as the Cotillo Boys Beer/Bible Club and regulars can have a polo shirt with the logo stitched on. It’s an opportunity for the men to get together and natter about life, the bible, faith, issues – however the chat goes – why not come and bring a friend. Beer or other liquid refreshment is available.
Ladies Aquafit and Bible Study
Ladies Aquafit – A weekly group in a member’s home and pool on Wednesday’s at 4pm – this is followed at 5pm by a Bible Study which is open to men and women – there is no charge.
