Who we are

We are a Church of England (Anglican) Chaplaincy serving the island of Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands. We are part of the Diocese in Europe.

Our first ever resident chaplain, Bob Horrocks retired in October 2022.

We are currently in a period of not having a resident priest, but Brian Evans-Smith, a recently retired priest from the Isle of Man, who has been associated with the Chapliancy for many years, has kindly agreed to be with us for three months, as our recruitment process faces the challenges.

We invite you to pray with us for a succesful outcome to our recruitment process.

We have a Chaplaincy Council which meets at various times of the year and two church wardens.

We have a licensed Lay Reader, Ruth Brough and Lynne Angus, Graham Maclean, Penny Melville and Yvonne Thompson are Congregational Worship Leaders

Graham Adgie and Robert Swift are our current wardens.
